Whether you are looking to raise a family, run a Bed and Breakfast, or retire and fish, this place is perfect. It offers an extra source of income by using the already established Bed and Breakfast. There is a main house and a guest house on one lot and there is a second adjoining lot that can be part of this package deal. You should be able to make more than enough on rental income to pay for your mortgage payment - if you desire.The main home is a two story Norwegian style home with a concrete foundation, full basement with pantry, sauna, workbenches and Toyo stove for one source of heat. There is also a root cellar that stays nice and cool for extra storage. Basement was recently sealed by the AK community housing development agency. Sidewalks and part of driveway recently resurfaced. Paved streets.The house is located just a couple of blocks from nearly everything. The schools, churches, pool, gym, groceries, harbor, main shopping, movie and event auditorium. It is close to hiking and biking trails and the basketball court, skate board area and ball fields and of course, the harbor.Main floor has large kitchen area, laundry room, separate dining room, living room, master bedroom, foyer, and one and a half baths. The upstairs is basically two bedrooms. Both contain lots of storage space. One bedroom has been transformed into a studio apartment. Full bath and kitchen area with island separating kitchen area from living area. The attic space has also been completely sealed with hard foam panels and spray-in foam in rafter area. It also doubles as a closet for clothing. shoes and more. The house has vinyl siding, tin roof, new gutters and fresh paint. Double pane windows throughout.Maytag appliances go with the house. Including washer, dryer, elec range. There is also an electric range and refrigerator in the studio. The house is currently set up for Toyo stoves and electric heat. The main house has a Large Toyo in the living room and the guest house has a small one. There is also a forced-air oil furnace in the basement that can be used to heat the entire house, too. Ducting is complete, throughout the main house.The Guest House is seen below in the first two photos. It can be used as a mother-in-Law, a year-round or seasonal rental or it can be used as a B style unit. The guest house has a small Toyo stove for heat or electric can also be used. The house is completely furnished. Kitchen table set, futon, lamps, tv and stand, microwave, refrigerator, elec range, dble bed, night stands, mini blinds, dishes and bedding. This has also had insulation added in the attic. I have been using both the upstairs studio and the guest house for extra income since I bought it in 2007. There has only been one other owner, other than myself.The yard has fruit (cherry and apple) trees, partially fenced, and has nice landscaping. There is also a place for a green house, garden, court yard and composting area.Taxes and insurance run under $200/month. Feel free to call for additional information.
