A rundown on the loft: We've got the entire 5th floor of an old knitting factory at 470 Flushing Ave, between Walworth and Spencer. It's located on the border of Hasidic South Williamsburg, Bed-Stuy and Clinton Hill. I know that is a lot of neighborhoods for one apartment, but we're really in the no man's land between all three. We've got a giant kitchen, with an island/bar, a living room with a projector, 1 1/2 bathrooms, a storage room, and a workroom. The workroom exists for messy projects, arts & crafts, art, bicycle repair, etc. It's usually fairly clean but it's not a big deal if a project is going to take awhile and sits out. We have limited rooftop access. There is a freight elevator that can be used to move large or heavy things in or out of the apartment, but it is manually operated so it cannot be used for passengers. We throw parties a few times a year with bands and DJs and we all help out working the door, or behind the bar, or whatever all night. Our household money is earned through these parties. A rundown on the rest of us: - Luke drinks lots of coffee and studies for a bunch of standardized tests--GO LUKE. - Trish is from texas - Doug knows music, milkshakes, and is Studying Defense Against the Dark Arts at Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. - Gerard works at a bike shop and is the most laidback roommate ever. - Brien works at 5 leaves and likes tattoos - Sam goes.
